No more curls...

Well I finally did, today I gave Adam the okay to cut Brody's hair. I know I kept saying I wasn't going to cut it but it had gotten to be a issue. You see the boy's are feeding themselves nowadays and I think Brody admired his curls too so as he would eat he would also twist his hair. There was numerous times I had to wash his hair after breakfast or lunch because a wash cloth or wet wipe wouldn't do. Today when I found a huge piece of cinnamon roll stuck to the back of his head I had enough. Giving 3 one year olds a bath every night is a chore in itself, I didn't need to add to the list "extra shampoo wash through the day", lol. I was sad, very sad and even Adam said he missed his hair long after we cut it. So I decided that I'm going to let it grow back out and hopefully (fingers crossed) when it gets long again he'll leave it alone, at least at the table. ;0) But I have a feeling it's not going to take that long to grow back out. Once Adam started cutting we realized how thick his hair really is! It looks cute though, very cute. So here are some before and after pictures, there not very good but it was the best I could get. :0)

He looks like such a BIG boy now. *sniff* *sniff*

I really like Brody's new style! I think that my Will may need a cut in the not too distant future, but my Logan still has just peach fuzz! LOL

Anyway, I think he looks great and hopefully he won't stick too much in his hair for a while!

It IS amazing how much a haircut changes a little boys' look. I'm sniffling with you!

I think he looks so sweet. He does look like a little man. I had to give Owen his first haircut when he was4 mos old. I had a good cry.

OK so I have a question....Do you actually bath them EVERY night? If you do you deserve a medal!

LOL, Yep every night. I've gotten to be pretty fast and Adam helps as often as he can. He timed us the other night and we folded a load of laundry, gave the 3 a bath, pj's on, teeth brushed, bottles made and in bed in less than 35 mins. :0)

Wow! He did such a good job cutting his hair!!! I'm so impressed!! I have GOT to learn to cut my boys hair too! 4..no 5, boys hair cuts add up quick. I'm sure you saved a few of those curls to hold on to forever. ..so precious! love it!

I cried like a baby when Ayden got his first haircut. He was the only one of the 3 that never had to have part of their hair shaved in the NICU. I was surprised how I reacted. I still get sad when he gets his hair cut too short..lol I'm a dork! Doesn't bother me when Dylan or Ryley get hacked! lol

Brody looks adorable with and without baby curls! So sweet!
