Day 2 of no "bahbah"...

Well I decided to give it a go.......again. We tried a few weeks ago and yes I'll admit it mommy gave in and gave them their bottles back. But in my defense I got weak at the knees when Logan looked at me and said...."mama mama, BAHBAH!!!!" all while tears streamed down his face. So yesterday I decided to give it another go, they are doing so good with their sippies with juice and water what's the difference right? Well it must be a HUGE difference because even though their doing better than last time their still not happy about it and their letting me know in their own baby talk way. I'm trying to stay strong because I don't want to start all over from the beginning and put them through the agony again. They still get their bedtime bottle but the main reason I'm doing that is so I know their getting plenty of milk. I don't want their calcium intake to drop just because we're taking bottles away. So when we do better with our sippies the bedtime bahbah will secretly disappear too. I'm fairly pleased so far, this morning they looked so big as they sat in front of the tv with their sippies full of milk and watched Higglytown Heroes. **SNIFF** I know, I know it's just a bottle. LOL

I love the new header!!! There must be a huge difference between milk and water/juice. Mine drink water/juice out of their sippys like that is the last they will ever get. Put milk/formula in it and they play and sip here and there, but nothing much. I am so worried their milk intake will drop once we do phase out bottles. I am thinking maybe they need a different sippy for milk and a different one for water/juice. I wonder if that will help? Stay strong, you are doing great!

awwww, I remember the day we went cold turkey on the bottles. It was harder on me than them! Hang in there, yet another phase of them getting bigger...sniff...
