Black Friday!

So I've never went shopping the day after Thanksgiving, I've always wanted to see what all the hype was about but never went. I wanted to go bad last year but the boys hadn't been home long and I was desperate to get any amount of sleep I could and getting up at 4 was not in my schedule. ;) But this year I decided to go and I'm so glad I did. My cousin Amy and my cousin's wife Brandy picked me up at 3:15 and we took off. We headed to Kohl's because they opened at 4. We pulled in at 3:30and OH MY GOD! I've never seen anything like that before, and last time I waited out in the cold was to get into a concert not a store. haha After that we headed to Walmart, Target and the mall. I saved quit a bit but in the end decided it was purely for the entertainment. We had so much fun and I'll definitly be going next year. I got back a little after 10 which was perfect because the boys had just went down for their nap, so I laid down until it was lunch time and it allowed me to rest a little. In the end I got 75% of my shopping done, saved big and laughed all day at the crazy people fighting for the sales and perfect gift.

I too went shopping yesterday. You should see it up here, lol. People are brutal. I got some of my shopping done. I have so many stinkin people to buy for.

I always go with my mother-in-law and two sister-in-laws. We go purely for the entertainment and usually spending more on ourselves than anyone else! It always starts at IHop (we go in Terre Haute, they live just south of there), then we head to the mall, eat lunch at Friday's, then head home. We usually start out around 8 am! I did go one year in college with Jama Fleetwood, we were living together and thought it would be great. I think we were home by 9 am and slept the rest of the day! But it is so much fun to just sit back and watch all the crazies!
