Brody's boo boos

So it's official, we're members of the boo boo club. We've had our little scratches and bumps here and there but yesterday Brody made it final. First, Sunday while giving them a bath I always squirt shampoo on all of their heads then scrub, well when I sit the bottle on the shelf in the tub (I must have not sit it on a flat spot) it started to rock then fell on Brody. At first I didn't see it hit him, I just thought the splash scared him. But then he looked up at me and I saw a gash on his nose and blood. I almost bawled, and felt so bad, poor little bear. :( He was fine a minute later and playing like nothing had happened, while mommy was still heartbroken and felt awful.

Then yesterday he was playing in the kitchen and as he pulled himself up using a chair he slipped and busted his mouth on the chair! It happen so fast there was nothing I could do. So I've finally came to realization that this is just the beginning. Now that their more mobile (and braver) than ever I know it's going to happen. So I guess I'll stock up on the Neosporin and Scooby Doo cold packs and brace myself, because in the end I think it hurts me more then them. All I know is my little bear looks like a boxer with his cut nose and fat lip.

awww, poor little guy! isn't it amazing how much it hurts to see your babies get hurt? what i think is even crazier is just how quickly they recover and how long it seems to take me to recover!
